In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions with different speakers and topics such as weekly webinar on Quranic Lifestyle.
New series of the weekly webinar on Quranic Lifestyle is held live every Thursday at 6 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The tenth session of this webinar, which was held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, has dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“Believers and hypocrites; Reflecting on Surah Baqarah verses 204-207 “
In this meeting, which was addressed by HIWM Sayed Zafar Abbas Naqvi, he delivered his speech for approximately 30 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
HIWM Sayed Zafar Abbas was born in London and hails from a religious family well known for their service to Aba Abdillah al Husayn (AS).
Sayed has a background in politics, international relations, history and law, acquired over four years, culminating in a Master’s degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, as well as a traditional Hawza education for over a decade from both London as well as the oldest Islamic seminary in the world at Najaf al Ashraf, Iraq.
For the last three years, Sayed has been serving as Resident Alim of IMI Hussainia Birmingham, one of the oldest and largest Shi’a centres in UK.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, Mr Seyed Mahdi Abedi, asked the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 45 minutes, ended at 18:50.
