Holding the 4th session of weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”

The weekly webinar on Empowering Muslim Women is held live every Friday at 4:30 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 4th session of this webinar, which was held on Friday, 18th March, 2022, at 16:30, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“Mother’s Love for Child” – as a source of meaning in life
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Masoud Toossi Saeidi, he spoke for 40 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
He talked about “Mother’s Love for Child” as a source of meaning in life. In his lecture it was clear that life’s meaning is one of the fundamental missing’s of the modern era and he will explain that why True Love is the best source of meaning among others. And then, what is more True than a mother’s love for her children?! This makes an asymmetry between nowadays men and women in their challenging with the problem of absurdity; an exclusive advantage for motherhood.
Dr Masoud Toossi Saeidi got his Ph.D. in philosophy of religion from IHCS (Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies) and M.A. from the Center for Philosophy of Science at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran. Toossi’s interests areas include contemporary analytical philosophy of religion and Islamic intellectual tradition. He has been the meaning of life course instructor at Sharif university of technology for recent two years.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, HIWM Seyed Amin Shamaei, read the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 17:30.
