Commemoration of the Demise of Lady Zainab (a.s.) at the Islamic Centre of England -2023

A mourning ceremony was held at the Islamic Centre of England, on the anniversary of the demise of Lady Zainab (a.s.), in the presence of the lovers of Imam Hussain (a.s.).

This ceremony was conducted in English and Persian on 7th February 2023. HI Ali Hadi Shabbiri in both English and Persian languages described the two fronts of truth and falsehood, plus the roles in these two fronts of the followers of the Prophets (S) and the companions of the infallible Imams (a.s.):

There were two ladies in history whom Muslims are indebted to. In relation to the two fronts of truth and falsehood, the mission of these two honourable ladies is revealed, that if they had not come to the battlefield and had remained silent, Islam would have either been distorted or destroyed.

He added, “The beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (S) of Islam was one of the two women who, with her endeavour, preserved the principle of the Wilayat and Imamate. The second lady in Islamic history was lady Zainab (a.s.), who with jihad e tab’een, has made certain that the message of Ashura and the Hussaini movement remains alive until the day of resurrection.

In this ceremony, two eulogists recited in English and Persian, the lamentations and mourned for lady Zainab (a.s.) Umm al-Masaib – Mother of misfortunes.
