Every day in the month of Ramadhan, the Islamic Centre of England welcomes the fasting believers from different nationalities in person and online with a series of programmes in commemoration of this holy occasion.
The first week of this series of programmes ended on Saturday, April 9, 2022, and the second week started today, Sunday, with the presence of new speakers and reciter.
In the first week of these programmes, HIWM Sheikh Mohammad Saeed Waezi spoke in Arabic and HI khani and Qasemi spoke in English and Persian about the Quranic lifestyle.
Daily recitation of the Holy Quran, Arabic lectures for 15 days, English and Persian lectures for 30 days and speeches in Urdu for a week, congregational prayers, Iftar banquet, recitation of supplication of Iftitah, Dua Kumail on Thursday nights, special programmes for Ghadr nights And Eid al-Fitr prayer are among the programmes of the holy month of Ramadan in 2022 at the Islamic Centre of England.
Special details of the daily programmes of the Islamic Centre of England in the holy month of Ramadan are as follows:
1- The programmes in the holy month of Ramadan at the Islamic Centre of England in the first week started at 17:30 by the recitation of one part of the Holy Quran with the recitation of several reciters and continued until 18:30.
2- After reciting the Holy Quran, lectures are given in Arabic, English and Persian for one and half hour, which are different for the speakers each week.
3- Following that, after playing the Ramadan videos, the congregational maghribayn prayers are offered at the same time at the Maghrib Adhan.
4- After the congregational prayers, the Iftar and dinner banquet welcomes the fasting believers.
5- The final part of the programmes is the recitation of the Dua Iftitah or Dua Kumail on Thursday nights every day before the Maghrib Adhan.
6- A special programme includes the recitation of the holy Quran, different supplications, a short speech by HIWM Seyed Hashem Moosavi, the esteemed director of the Islamic Centre of England, for 5 minutes in English and morning Adhan by the time zone of London.
7- Educational services also are provided for children from 18:30 until the Maghrib Adhan, which is dedicated to familiarizing children with Ramadan and the teachings of the holy Quran.
The second week of special programmes of the Islamic Centre of England has started today with the presence of new speakers, including HIWM Waezi in Arabic, HI Afzal Merali in English and HIWM Avaei in Persian.
Quran recitation, English and Persian lectures, dua Iftitah and educational services for children during the ceremony are among the daily programmes of the holy month of Ramadan this year.
