Sister Iman Mary Odonnell has a BSc in Dietetics from Leeds Beckett University.
She submitted a PhD in Nutrition in 1992 to King’s College, University of London and was awarded MPhil Nutrition.
She worked a Registered Dietitian for thirty years in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.
She is a former Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Ulster and worked as a Senior Clinical Dietitian and teaching in Afghanistan in 2014, 2017 and in 2020.
She is currently studying for Level 4 Certified Nutrition Diploma (Association for Nutrition certified at Level 3, CPD Service accredited) and working part time as a Care Professional in companionship care for clients with dementia ‘for a multiple award winning company in Northern Ireland, UK.
