Holding the 7th session of weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions in different speaker and topics such as weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”.
The weekly webinar on Empowering Muslim Women is held live every Friday at 4:30 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 7th session of this webinar, which was held on Friday, 3rd June 2022, at 16:30, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“The role of divine closeness in the empowerment of Muslim women: why and how?”
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Monawar Shayesteh Khoo, she spoke for 50 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
She tried to answer the following questions in this webinar:
Why should Muslim women approach God as an end?
How can it be approached and what are the preconditions?
Is getting closer to God the end of the road or the beginning?
How does achieving this competence help empower Muslim women?
Dr. Munawar Shayesteh Khoo’s educational orientation is “Educational Interpretation” and she is currently in charge of the management of Narjes Seminary in Mashhad.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, Mrs Parvini, read the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 17:30.
