We can confirm that according to the Religious Office of the learned Grand Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the sighting of the crescent moon has been confirmed on the evening of Tuesday 9th April 2024, and therefore, we celebrate Wednesday 10th April 2024 as being the first day of the month of Shawwal and will be Eid Al-Fitr.
Eid prayers will be led by our respected Imam Seyed Hashem Moosavi at the Islamic Centre of England. More information will be available on our website ( www.ic-el.uk ).
We extend our warmest blessings and gratitude on this occasion and pray that our acts of worship have been accepted by the Almighty and that we have benefited from the blessings and learnings of this month that has ended. بناء على ما أعلنه مكتب سماحة آية الله العظمى السيد علي الخامنئي دام ظله العالي، فقد تم تأكيد رؤية الهلال مساء يوم الثلاثاء 9 أبريل 2024م، ولذلك فإن الأربعاء 10 أبريل هو عيد الفطر المبارك و المصادف الاول من شهر شوال المكرم.
وستقام صلاة عيد الفطر بإمامة حجة الاسلام والمسلمين السيد هاشم الموسوي في المركز الاسلامي في انجلترا.
