To mark the blessed month of Ramadan, Tebyan School at the Islamic Centre of England has made special arrangements for children and adolescents aged 5 to 13.
Dozens of children and teenagers have participated in the school’s cultural and educational extracurricular activities this year. These programs, including Quran memorization and recitation, Islamic teachings, Quranic storytelling, handicrafts, and painting, commence one hour before Maghrib prayer each day. They create a spiritually uplifting and joyful atmosphere for young participants throughout the month of Ramadan.
These programs are organized annually for children, and this year, the teachers at Tebyan School have drawn inspiration from the spiritual ambiance of Ramadan, approaching their educational efforts with even greater enthusiasm and motivation.
The active participation of children in all aspects of the programs is one of the most significant achievements of these extracurricular activities. The children’s joy is most evident in entertainment activities such as painting and handicrafts, with face painting being the most popular among them. Additionally, engaging children in cultural and Quranic activities within these programs has provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen their educational foundation and moral development.
Coinciding with these activities, a celebration for the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (AS) was held on March 15, 2025. This event created a spiritually enriching and joyful atmosphere for young children and Quran learners.
