Special Program for Tebyan School Students
Tebyan School, affiliated with the Islamic Centre of England, organized a special celebration on Saturday, 24 January 2026, to mark the joyous and blessed birth anniversaries of Imam Husayn, Imam Zayn al-Abidin, and Hazrat Abul-Fazl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) for its Qur’anic students.
The spiritual gathering began with the students—aged 5 to 15—performing the congregational Dhuhr and Asr prayers, followed by a recitation of the Holy Qur’an by one of the students.
This was followed by speeches highlighting the virtues and noble character of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him), the patience and perseverance of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) in explaining and preserving the message of Imam Husayn’s uprising, and the lessons of devotion, sacrifice, and obedience embodied by Hazrat Abul-Fazl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
During the celebration, a video clip on the exemplary moral character of Imam Hasan and Imam Husayn (peace be upon them) was screened, along with special nasheeds and video presentations marking the birth anniversaries of Imam Sajjad and Hazrat Abul-Fazl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
The students also took part in a special competition prepared for them. Prizes and gifts were then presented to the winners, as well as to students whose names were Husayn, Abbas, and Sajjad.
The program concluded with the playing of a special celebratory anthem, the cutting of a commemorative cake for the blessed birthdays of Imam Husayn, Imam Sajjad, and Hazrat Abbas (peace be upon them), and refreshments served to the Qur’anic students.
