On Saturday, 22 August 2026, a one-day Taster Course introducing the Hawza programmes was successfully held at the Islamic Centre, drawing enthusiastic participation.
Designed to familiarise prospective students with the curriculum, teaching methodologies, and upcoming academic programmes, the event attracted a total of 79 registrations. Of these, 63 participants attended the sessions (43 in person and 20 online).
The opening commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Following this, the head of education delivered an opening address. Welcoming both the in-person and online attendees, he provided a comprehensive overview of the Hawza’s educational vision, objectives, and training frameworks, highlighting the vital role of Islamic studies in addressing contemporary societal needs.
