Production and publication of 4-minute videos interpreting of the verses of the Holy Qur’an on the subject of Quranic lifestyle

The Islamic Centre of England and the office of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in London, in a joint action, designed and produced 4-minute videos on verses of the Holy Quran on the subject of Quranic lifestyle.

In this series, 30 verses from the Holy Quran that are related to lifestyle and contain valuable messages in order to improve and enhance the way of life and human interactions, have been selected and based on these verses, the following actions have been taken.

Initially, a poster was designed based on the meanings of each verse. In these posters, an attempt has been made to illustrate the meaning or concepts of each verse using graphic symbols and to show them in a graphic format. The purpose of this graphic illustration is to perpetuate these concepts in the mind and also to pave the way for the audience to reflect on the meaning of the posters and the meaning of the verses.

In the second step, a 45-second motion graphic is created using moving image techniques for each of the selected verses. In these motions, an attempt has been made to use the symbols in the concept posters and by animating these symbols, to provide the ground for their greater permanence in the mind.

In the third step, a short three-minute interpretation by HIWM Syed Ali Raza Rizvi is recorded for each of the luminous verses. In this short interpritation, an attempt has been made to answer the question of how we can make this noble verse current in our lives in order to take a step towards the “Quranic lifestyle”.

The above three steps – a concept poster of a verse, a motion graphic of a verse, and an interpretation of a verse – are combined to form a 4-minute video about that verse. The short time of these videos will make their audience more interested in using them.

During the holy month of Ramadan 2021, the Islamic Centre of England and the office of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in London will publish a daily video clip related to a verse from the Quranic lifestyle on television and social networks.
