On the birth anniversary of the saviour of humankind, Hazrat Sahib al-Zaman (a.j.), a magnificent ceremony was held at the Islamic Centre of England.
The attendance of hundreds of the followers of progeny of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) who celebrated the birthday of Imam of the Time (a.j.), formed this celebration on Sunday night, February 25, 2024.
In this ceremony, which was impressed by the presence of passionate young people, the Imam of the Islamic Centre of England; Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyed Hashem Moosavi in a speech in English and Farsi, considered the spread of the religion of the truth in the world, to be the true promise of God Almighty. He added “According to the clear text of the Quran, the victory of religion of God is the sure promise of God over all the false schools and their spread on the entire earth”.
He said “Two of the most important elements for the spread of God’s religion in the world are the existence of a perfect and qualified leader to lead the society and the existence of faithful, pure-hearted and selfless people who are at the height of piety and are obedient and full defenders of the infallible Imam (a.j.)”.
The Imam of the Islamic Centre of England also listed the knowledge about Hazrat Hojjat (a.j.) as one of the important characteristics of the true followers of progeny of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) during the occultation. Then he added: “According to the narrations of Ahl al-Bait (a.s.), the special companions of Imam Mahdi (a.j.) are all people of piety and God wariness, and have a feeling of closeness and companionship with him through communicating with that noble person by supplication and invocation.
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyed Hashem Moosavi clarified “Lack of familiarity with the duties during the occultation and failure to fulfil them, cause the loneliness of the Imam of the Time (a.j.) and postpone his reappearance”.
In this ceremony, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyed Saeed Khalkhali, in a speech in Arabic, pointed out to the importance of the duties and responsibilities of the followers of the Progeny of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a) during the occultation and said: “The most important duty is to prepare for the reappearance of His Holiness.”
He added: “Educating and upbringing children based on the life of the infallible imams (a.s.) is one of the duties of our society to prepare for the reappearance of Hazrat Hojjat (a.j.)”.
In this ceremony, the eulogist for Ahl al-Bait (a.s.), recited poems to celebrate the birth of Imam of the Age, Hazrat Mahdi (a.j.).
On this occasion, other ceremonies were held on Saturday and Sunday, February 24 and 25, 2024, in the gathering of Quran students of the Tebyan School of the Islamic Centre of England.
In these ceremonies, the students recited the Holy Quran, sang songs and poems to celebrate the birth of their last Imam (a.j.), and special music videos of the birth of Imam Zaman (a.j.) were played for them and their teachers described the life of Imam Mahdi (a.j.) for them.
In this ceremony, the winners of the selective level of the Quran competition in Tebyan School, which was held on February 17, as well as those who carried the name of Imam Mahdi (a.j.), were given prizes and gifts.
