On the auspicious occasion of the birth of Lady Fatimah Zahra (SA), Qur’an students of Tabyan School at the Islamic Centre of England held a two-day celebration with cultural and educational activities. The event took place on Saturday 21st December and Sunday 22nd December, attended by dozens of Qur’an students of various ages, along with their Qur’an teachers. The celebration brought joy and happiness to the students.
The spiritual ceremony began with the congregation of the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, followed by the students engaging in cultural and educational activities in different groups. Among the activities were Qur’an recitations, speeches, presentations of articles, and a drawing competition, all centred around the theme of this festive occasion.
The cutting of a special cake to mark the blessed birth of Lady Fatimah Zahra (SA) created a joyful and memorable moment for the children and teenagers of Tabyan School.
According to reports, at the end of the celebration, prizes and gifts were awarded to the winners of the cultural competitions, as well as to students whose names were inspired by the beautiful names of Zahra, Fatimah, Kawthar, Batool, and Muhaddithah. Additionally, top students of the current academic year were also recognized with rewards.
