The Islamic Centre of England hosts hundreds of fasting people of different nationalities with special in-person and online programs in the evening and dawn of the Holy Month of Ramadan 2024.
According to the Public Relations Department’s report of the Islamic Centre of England, the Maghreb special program is held daily in person and online in three languages, including Arabic, Farsi, and English. This program for Arabic and Persian languages, starts one hour and 15 minutes before Maghrib Azan in person with the recitation of half a Juz (part) of the Qur’an. And then, after the speech, it continues with supplications, call to prayer, and congregational prayer. In a further part of the program, the iftar feast is offered as one of the special effects of the believers’ charity and offerings in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In the second special part of the Maghrib program, an English lecture is presented after breaking the fast. Then there is a recitation of the Supplication for Opening of the Fast in the Holy Month of Ramadan with then the second half of the Juz (part) of the Holy Quran is recited.
Special spiritual banquet program:
This internet television program is presented online and starts about 45 minutes before the morning call for prayer and continues until 15 minutes after it. The Spiritual Feast is a program consisting of Qur’an interpretation, Hadith interpretation, Qur’an recitation, rulings, supplications, call to prayer, and congregational prayer, is produced on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan 2024 at the Islamic Centre of England and broadcasted through the Centre’s virtual networks.
In this program, the morning call for prayer is shown on the skyline of Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Newcastle at the same time as London. There is a speech by Hujjat al-Islam wal Muslimeen Seyed Hashem Moosavi, Imam of the Islamic Centre of England, about the Quranic concepts. Furthermore, there is a discussion on rulings and principles of spiritual psychology presented by an expert in the field.
This program also consists of Quranic recitation of distinguished reciters living in England together with a group of dozens of boys and girls who learn the Quran from Tibyan School. There is also the morning call to prayer from the Islamic Centre of England and attractive spiritual videos.
