Holding the 40th session of weekly webinar on Parenting
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions in different speaker and topics such as weekly webinar on Parenting.
The weekly webinar on Parenting is held live every Saturday at 18:00 on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 40th session of this webinar, which was held on Saturday, September 18th , 2021, at 18:00, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“Science of Parenting”
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Amina Al-Yassin, he spoke for 45 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
Dr Amina Al-Yassin is a GP and a fellow in child and adolescent mental health.
She has undertaken training in child counselling and coaching, is a youth mental health first aid trainer and is the programme manager of Hikayati, a personal development, mentoring and wellbeing centre for orphaned children in Iraq.
She is a mum of two young children and believes that there is no such thing as a perfect parent.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, Ms. Sumayah Razavi, read the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 19:00.
