Holding the 22nd weekly webinar on Parenting
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussion in different speaker and topics such as weekly webinar on Parenting.
The weekly webinar on Parenting is held live every Saturday normally at 18:00 on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook. However, this week it was held at 18:30 due to Maghrib prayer.
The Twenty Second session of this webinar, which was held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 18:30 after Isha prayer, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“Economic tarbiyyat”
In this meeting, which was addressed by HIWM Sheikh Afzal Merali, he spoke for 50 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
is an Islamic scholar who specialises in Islamic sciences and law, with a keen interest in Islamic and religious history, and the methodology of Tabligh.
He is a teacher at the Hawza Ilmiyya of England, and is currently studying a Master’s degree in Quranic sciences and tafsir.
Sheikh Afzal started his Hawza studies in the UK, after which he migrated to Lebanon, studying in its Hawzas for 10 years, and then moved to Qum and continued his studies there for 5 years, at the level of Bahth Kharij. During this time, he worked extensively in tabligh and the media, learning the Tabligh skills and methods.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, Ms. Sumayah Razavi, read the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 19:35.
