In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions with different speakers and topics such as weekly webinar on Quranic Lifestyle.
The weekly webinar on Quranic Lifestyle is held live every Thursday at 6:00 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 92nd session of this webinar, which was held on Thursday, 13th January 2022, has dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“Felicity from the Perspective of the Holy Qur’an”
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Muhammad Reza Fakhr Rohani, he delivered his speech for approximately 35 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
Dr Muhammad-Reza Fakhr-Rohani was born at Qom, Iran. He studied English literature and linguistics at the University of Tehran. He has been active in the realm of Ashura literature in English, and has translated several Islamic texts from Arabic and Persian into English. He translated into English a collection of Imam al-Husayn’s sermons and letters, and discourses. He also authored the first book-length biography of Allama Amini in English. Among his forthcoming works the following may be mentioned: Ashura Encyclopedic Dictionary, and Martyrdom Narratives (Maqtals) of Imam al-Husayn.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, Mr Seyed Mahdi Abedi asked the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 55 minutes, ended at 18:55.
