Holding the 2nd session of weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions in different speaker and topics such as weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”.
The weekly webinar on Empowering Muslim Women is held live every Friday at 4:30 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 2nd session of this webinar, which was held on Friday, 4th March, 2022, at 16:30, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“Women’s spiritual care in the face of chronic individual and family illnesses”
In particular, the Muslim woman, due to the different duties arising from Eastern culture and Islamic society, needs resilience and spiritual, physical, psychological, emotional and social care. This webinar focused on providing solutions with an emphasis on spiritual health to improve the quality of life of women.
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Adeleh Reza Gholizadeh, she spoke for 55 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
Dr Adeleh Reza Gholizadeh is an internal medicine specialist and a specialist in supportive and palliative care. Currently, she focusses on women with cancer or women caring for cancer patients.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, HIWM Seyed Amin Shamaei, read the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 17:35.
