Holding the 3rd session of weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions in different speaker and topics such as weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”.
The weekly webinar on Empowering Muslim Women is held live every Friday at 4:30 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 3rd session of this webinar, which was held on Friday, 11th March, 2022, at 16:30, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“An Efficient Model of Social Participation of Muslim Women”
There are different types of women’s participation that will be explored in this webinar. To this end, the difference between a job and an effective social activity overseeing the higher purposes of religion is first determined. Then, in order to resolve any mental conflict, while introducing effective models of social participation, general-specialized-organizational-visionary needs and capabilities are discussed. Typical examples in Iran will also be analysed. However, the issue of social participation of Muslim women with emotionalism and motherhood for society, tenderness and benevolent spirit of Muslim women can have special effects.
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Fatemeh Giti Pasand, she spoke for 40 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
Dr Fatemeh Giti Pasand is a university lecturer and the managing director of the Institute for the Study of Science, Culture and Technology of the Continuation of the Islamic Revolution. Islamic University and Women’s Higher Education is her field of study.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, HIWM Seyed Amin Shamaei, read the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 17:30.
