Holding the 74th session of weekly webinar on Islam and contemporary issues
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions in different speakers and topics such as weekly webinar on Islam and contemporary issues.
The weekly webinar on Islam and contemporary issues is held live every Monday at 6:00 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 74th session of this webinar, which was held on Monday, 23rd May 2022, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“Islam and the Environmental Crisis”
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Amina Inloes, he spoke for 43 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
Dr. Amina Inloes has a PhD in Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter, specialising in hadith.
Dr Amina Inloes is an author, translator, and academic. In addition to lecturing in Islamic Studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels, she is also a popular Islamic lecturer and is involved in public and community work. She has a doctorate in Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter and has also attended the traditional seminary. Her research interests include hadith, Islam and gender, and esoteric theology.
She is the author of Women in Shi’ism.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, Mr. Seyed Mahdi Abedi ask the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 7:00 p.m.
