Holding the 9th session of weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions in different speaker and topics such as weekly webinar on “Empowering Muslim Women”.
The weekly webinar on Empowering Muslim Women is held live every Friday at 4:30 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
The 9th session of this webinar, which was held on Friday, 1st July 2022, at 16:30, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“The Paradigm of Balance between Family Roles and the Social Presence of Women”
In this meeting, which was addressed by Dr Tahura Noroozi, she spoke for 45 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
In this webinar, Dr. Tahora Norouzi tried to explain the religious principles in the paradigm of balance between family roles and social presence.
She also talked about the pathology of the West and the challenge of a one-dimensional view of women and their social presence.
Dr. Tahura Noroozi as well as provided solutions for contemporary Muslim women in balancing family roles with social presence.
Dr. Tahura Noroozi holds a PhD in Islamic jurisprudence and law and works as a researcher and writer in the field of family and women.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, HIWM Seyed Amin Shamaei, read the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 17:30.
