Holding the 85th session of weekly webinar on Parenting
In an era where so many of people are working or studying from home and have more flexible timetables, Islamic Centre of England is holding few live interactive discussions in different speakers and topics such as weekly webinar on Parenting.
The weekly webinar on Parenting held live every Saturday at 6:00 p.m. on virtual networks such as Zoom, YouTube and Facebook. However, exceptionally this week it was held at 5:00 pm due to coincidence with Maghrib prayer.
The 85th session of this webinar, which held on Saturday, 31st October 2022, dedicated its topic to the following subject:
“The Role of Proper Nutrition in Upbringing Righteous Children”
This meeting, which addressed by Sister Iman Mary Odonnell, she spoke for 35 minutes on the subject of the meeting.
Sister Iman Mary Odonnell has a BSc in Dietetics from Leeds Beckett University.
She submitted a PhD in Nutrition in 1992 to King’s College, University of London and was awarded MPhil Nutrition.
She worked a Registered Dietitian for thirty years in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.
She is a former Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Ulster and worked as a Senior Clinical Dietitian and teaching in Afghanistan in 2014, 2017 and in 2020.
She is currently studying for Level 4 Certified Nutrition Diploma (Association for Nutrition certified at Level 3, CPD Service accredited) and working part time as a Care Professional in companionship care for clients with dementia ‘for a multiple award winning company in Northern Ireland, UK.
At the second part of the meeting in the Q&A section, the meeting’s moderator, Mr. Seyed Jaffar Moosavi Payandeh asked the questions raised by the participants in the meeting and the speaker answered them.
The session, which lasted 60 minutes, ended at 6:00 p.m.
