Sheikh Meisam Ghasemi is the Director of the Tawheed Newcastle Islamic Centre since 2016.
He is a PhD. Student in Islamic Studies and he also studied in the field of Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Theology and Islamic Ethics at the International Institute for Islamic Studies, Seminary of Qom.
Sheikh Ghasemi has an M.A. in Teaching Islamic Sciences from the University of Baqir al-Ulum, Qom in the Field of Islamic Ethics, Islamic Mysticism and Comparative Ethical Studies between Islam and Christianity.
He also has experience teaching at the Jami’at al-Zahra University & Seminary [for Women] – International Division, Qom and Al-Mustafa International University in the field of “Islamic Practical Law” and “Verdicts of Islamic Scholars”.
He was an Instructor at Manchester Islamic Centre in the field of Arabic Morphology & Islamic Jurisprudence (Based on the Verdicts of Shia Scholars) from 2014 to 2016.
He also has experience in researching and translating scientific and specialized articles from Persian to English, and some of them have been published.
He speaks fluently Farsi, English, French and Arabic and reading, writing and conversation Spanish and Turkish.
He has also participated in International conferences in Austria and Turkey.
